Rayong, Thailand, 8 December, 2020: Cleantech Solar’s PV system at Bosch SMART factory in Thailand is now live! 2,880 solar modules have been installed across the rooftop of the Bosch’s Hemaraj factory that covers an area of about 10,000 square metres. As part of the expansion plan to boost the renewable electricity generating capacity at the facility, Cleantech Solar and Bosch will be extending the power purchase agreement (PPA) to install an additional 319 kW on the remaining available rooftop space. The added capacity is expected to be commissioned by early 2021.
The Bosch Group’s vision of carbon neutrality was achieved in September 2020, and Cleantech Solar is proud to have been part of this endeavor, ultimately strengthening Bosch’s sustainability leadership in the automotive industry.
