Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the IT portfolio of the company and will be responsible for understanding and managing IT risks of the group, implementing strategic IT projects and managing all IT and computer-related functions of the organisation on a day-to-day basis to ensure smooth business operations throughout the enterprise. This entails guaranteeing optimum IT-related resources for various departments to excel at their work whilst safeguarding sensitive technical and commercial data owned by the company.
He/she will also be expected to articulate and resolve strategic IT issues, generate timely reports on the IT health status of the company as well as ensure compliance with international best practices in IT management. The IT Manager will be a key participant of the business intelligence team providing 21st century data visualisation reports to staff, clients and stakeholders alike.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Managing the overall IT strategy of the company and implementing strategic IT projects
- Identifying and mitigating IT risks of the company including ensuring adequate security and backup
- Managing the entire IT health of the enterprise, be it hardware, software, data security for the staff of various technical, commercial and back office departments and the database of solar PV assets
- Being part of the Intelligence Team to provide insight and business intelligence to various units across different streams of the organisation and external stakeholders
- Liaising with IT Vendors in multiple geographies and assisting in the procurement of critical software and hardware needed for the enterprise
- Managing the documentation of existing IT-related processes and improving on existing systems
- Managing resources for staff-to-staff and external communications
- Leading the ERP evaluation and implementation along with functional experts / core team
- Managing optimum utilisation of licensing of various products and their compliance
Location
- Job location for the above position is in India, with Mumbai being the preferred location (Hyderabad, Pune & Delhi are other options) and will require travel to various Cleantech Solar sites and locations across different states in India
