Sachin Jain is an accomplished clean energy professional with extensive experience across consulting, entrepreneurship and business leadership roles spanning over two decades, including over 13 years in the renewable energy sector with 2+ GW of lifecycle experience.

Prior to Cleantech Solar, Sachin was Head of Clean Energy for India and the Global Co-Lead for Solar Energy at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he played a key role in scaling the firm’s climate and energy offerings and advising corporates, IPPs, investors, policymakers and senior management. He advised on a range of topics covering energy transition, renewable energy, C&I corporate PPAs, PE portfolio acceleration, green hydrogen and climate investment strategy whilst working with global teams & clients across the US, Europe, India, Middle East, Southeast Asia and Japan.

Preceding BCG, he started Oriano Clean Energy, raised capital and scaled the business as its CEO. Under his leadership, the renewable business expanded its operations to in-house Development, Land Acquisition, EPC, C&I and O&M, and was ranked as the fastest growing clean technology company in APAC by Deloitte Fast500. Previously, as a part of the leadership team and Head of Strategy of Mahindra’s renewable IPP platform (Susten), Sachin played a key role in launching this platform and in developing & investing in utility-scale renewable assets.

Brian is the CFO of Cleantech Solar and is responsible for the strategic finance direction to support the growth of the company. Prior to joining Cleantech Solar, Brian has spent over 13 years at Alpha Investment Partners, the private fund investment manager of Keppel Capital, setting up and managing the finance function for the private funds. Brian graduated with a B. Commerce from the University of Queensland and is a CPA holder.

Pheroze is an experienced senior professional in the renewable energy and environmental industry. He has spent his career demonstrating strong business development and finance-related skills, primarily in the solar photovoltaic (PV) sector in addition to the broader environmental sector.

Pheroze was one of the early-stage employees of Cleantech Solar, joining the organisation in 2015 and helping it grow into one of India and Asia’s leading C&I developers. He is currently Director of Business Development, focusing on the company’s India operations and working closely with a diverse range of industrial customers to customise solutions for their energy requirements. Pheroze was previously part of the team at Kiran Energy, one of India’s pioneering solar utilities and prior to that, he was a core team member at the Mahindra Group that developed and grew the group’s sustainability initiative.

Pheroze holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick, where he focused on energy studies and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Business Management from Imperial College London, where he completed his dissertation on the feasibility of solar disinfection of drinking water for developing countries.

A seasoned scholar in photovoltaics (PV), André utilises his in-depth knowledge and specialisation in PV systems performance, analytical monitoring, simulation, and long-term behaviour to maximise the operational performance of Cleantech Solar’s PV assets in markets across India and Southeast Asia. He has been managing a fleet of hundreds of MWp of PV assets across the region. Prior to this role, André was Head of Operations and Maintenance. He has extensive experience in feasibility studies, due diligences and owner’s engineer roles. Alan focuses on value creation through driving engineering excellence and strengthening strategic technology partnerships. Alan brings his wealth of engineering experience, technical skills and unique business perspectives to accelerate technological innovation to lead Cleantech Solar into its next phase of growth. Prior to this role, Alan was Head of Engineering, Procurement and Construction where he played a critical role in the market entry and successful growth of key regional markets. Alan holds a Project Management Professional (PMP)® and B.Eng (First Class Honours) from National University of Singapore.

Suchita Saigal is General Counsel at Cleantech Solar. In her career spanning over 12 years, she has worked with top-tier law firms and companies across jurisdictions and has in-depth experience in advising lenders, government entities and IPPs in project development and financing transactions. Starting her career as a trainee lawyer at Clifford Chance, London, she joined Clifford Chance’s London-based Energy and Infrastructure practice upon qualification. Subsequently, on relocating to India, Suchita worked with top-tier energy and infrastructure practices in JSA and Trilegal, and leading in-house teams in the Energy and Infrastructure sector. As the General Counsel of Cleantech Solar’s rapidly growing business, Suchita heads the legal and corporate secretarial verticals and advises on matters ranging from commercial contracts, financing documents, investments, litigations and compliances.
