Everyone who works for Cleantech Solar, has an important part to play in making Cleantech Solar a safer place to work. We expect people to take personal responsibility in three areas:
- to comply with the law, standards and procedures;
- to intervene in unsafe or non-compliant situations; and
- to respect our neighbours.
Leadership commitment
Leaders across all levels at Cleantech Solar are required to play a key role in making Goal Zero happen. They work closely with the teams, including both employees and contractors to ensure a strong focus on safety and promoting good safety culture.
Our Life-Saving Rules
Cleantech Solar has 9 clear and consistent Life-Saving Rules and we expect everyone to comply with these rules. These Life-Saving Rules set out simple dos and don’ts, covering activities with the greatest risk to life. In 2021, we moved from the Cleantech Life-Saving Rules, which we adopted in 2019, to the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) Life-Saving Rules. We believe that the industry rules will make a difference to safety on the frontline.
