Kuehne + Nagel Singapore and Cleantech Solar enter into 20-year solar energy partnership.
Kuehne + Nagel Singapore provides managed services tailored to meet customer challenges, with an emphasis on simplifying supply chain complexity; reducing inventory and logistics costs while maximising service levels. They cover several service modes across several geographies/regions, providing additional value, based on a customer contract. They bring the best of real-world experience and technical know-how to bear on the complex problems of logistics and provisioning, being the single point of contact to the customer.
The Starting Point
Kuehne + Nagel has a clear goal to minimise environmental impact and the use of renewable energy is an integral part of their sustainability targets. The Kuehne + Nagel Singapore team made sure the building was “solar-ready” and “solar-as-a-service” is the ideal extension to the logistics hub which was built according to highest environmental standards.
The Result
Cleantech Solar are selected to partner Kuehne + Nagel Singapore in this long term solar energy partnership and are very proud to have completed this outstanding project of 844.8 kWp solar system that generates over 1,000 MWh per annum, representing nearly 13,000 tonnes of CO2 to be saved over its lifetime. The way that Kuehne + Nagel team made sure the building was solar-ready” from the onset has helped Cleantech Solar delivered what we think is one of the fastest implementations for a solar project of this size in Singapore.
